Job Description

Senior Designer, Key Accounts

We’re looking for a senior jewelry designer who can support several of our growing key accounts and bring both creative vision and commercial awareness to the table. This role blends hands-on design with customer-facing collaboration, making you a core partner to our clients and our internal teams. You’ll create product concepts, lead design presentations, and ensure every piece meets the aesthetic and commercial needs of each account.

What You’ll Do

  • Design product concepts and collections for key accounts, ranging from trend-driven youth brands to elevated, demi-fine–inspired partners.
  • Serve as the primary creative contact for these customers, leading design discussions and presenting concepts with confidence.
  • Translate customer briefs, inspiration, and brand direction into clear design proposals and sketches.
  • Collaborate closely with internal product development, costing, and production teams to ensure feasibility, margin alignment, and timely execution.
  • Review samples, materials, stones, and components to ensure all designs meet brand and quality standards.
  • Manage design timelines, approvals, and revisions to keep each account’s development calendar running smoothly.
  • Mentor junior team members on design expectations, brand nuances, and best practices for major US retailers.
  • Bring a strong point of view on trends, design direction, and what’s right for each specific account.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in jewelry design (fashion and/or demi-fine).
  • Experience working with major US specialty retailers and an understanding of their design expectations, timelines, and processes.
  • Someone who can step into a senior role quickly with minimal onboarding and a solid understanding of the industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills and comfort presenting designs to buyers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
  • A balance of creativity and commercial thinking—able to design beautifully while considering cost, margin, and manufacturability.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to juggle multiple design calendars simultaneously.

Why This Role Matters

Our company is expanding with new accounts that value close collaboration with their designers. This role strengthens that creative partnership, bringing experience, taste level, and stability to our internal team. It’s an opportunity for an experienced designer to take on a senior, visible position and shape the product direction for key customers.

Requirements

  • Onsite role
  • 3+ years of experience in Retail Luxury Goods or Jewelry
