This is a remote position.

As the PHP/Wordpress Developer of our Agency, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality on websites and platforms. You will establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensure high performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS and integrations.

Proficiency in English and Portuguese at a B2/C1 level is mandatory.

Local: Remote (Portugal-based candidates).

Requirements

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement new features and functionality for websites and platforms.
• Establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensuring high performance and availability.
• Manage all technical aspects of the CMS (Content Management System).
• Develop custom themes and plugins to meet the specific needs of the platform.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the graphical design is the best solution and is effectively implemented.
• Ensure the platform is responsive for different devices and browsers.
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot the platform as necessary.
• Optimize the platform for security, speed and scalability.
• Stay updated on new trends and advancements in web development.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• +4 years of experience;
• Experience architecture and developing responsive websites;
• Work experience as a PHP/WordPress developer;
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git;
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development;
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese at a B2/C1 level is mandatory;

• Experience with SEO
• Experience with Newspapers platforms
• Experience with E-commerce platforms
