About Us:

The Capital Law Firm, P.C., a high-performing personal injury firm in Los Angeles, is expanding into Employment Law—and we’re looking for an experienced Plaintiff-Side Employment Attorney to lead the way!

This opportunity is to assist in building a new practice area for the firm. If you’re confident in your skills, passionate about employee rights, and ready to shape something new within a strong firm, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Handle plaintiff-side employment law matters from intake through resolution.
• Assist in building and developing an intake team and process.
• Develop a prelitigation strategy with the managing partner.
• Handle cases involving wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, retaliation, and discrimination.
• Develop, lead and conduct litigation strategy, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop systems, workflows, and department structure.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff-side employment litigation
• Deep knowledge of California labor laws and employment litigation procedures
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a full caseload
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in launching and growing a new department
• Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred

Position Details

• Full-time, based in our Los Angeles office
• In-office to start, with potential for hybrid schedule
• Reports directly to the CEO, with support from the COO
• Salary range: $180,000 – $220,000, depending on experience
