My client is a rapidly growing general contractor delivering complex public infrastructure projects throughout the NYC metro area for MTA, NYCTA, Amtrak, and related agencies. Position Overview

The Superintendent will lead field operations on large-scale rail and transit projects, overseeing crews, subcontractors, safety, quality, and coordination with agency partners, to ensure immediate and successful project execution. The Superintendent will be executing projects from $60m to $200m+ working closely with multiple agencies and other National General Contractors of Joint Ventures.

• Provide on-site leadership and coordinate day-to-day execution of rail construction, maintenance, safety, and operational activities.
• Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and union personnel while maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with MTA representatives, project managers, and inspectors to ensure compliance with contract requirements and transit standards.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work activities to minimize service disruptions and maintain project milestones.
• Review work plans, daily logs, quality inspections, and ensure work meets engineering specifications.
• Monitor field performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Enforce compliance with all safety regulations, site rules, and transit system access protocols.
