Spiritual Guide - Life Connections Program– $23.00 p/h - Fort Worth, TX – Carswell Federal Medical Center, Bureau of Prisons

The Role

Are you experienced in working with adults in a supportive environment? Do you have the ability to guide others in life skills and personal growth?

We are seeking a Spiritual Guide to support the Life Connections Program at the Carswell Federal Medical Center. This role involves assisting adults in a community setting by fostering their spiritual and personal growth. Working closely with the program chaplain and staff, you will play a key role in the development of the program and the overall progress of its participants.

This is a part-time, 1099 contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide participants in a classroom or community-based environment with a focus on practical life skills.
• Work alongside the Life Connections Program Chaplain and other team members to help develop and assess the program.
• Attend meetings, including team discussions, related to the services provided.
• Provide support and guidance to participants as they navigate their personal and spiritual development.

The Person

• Must be a member in good standing with a recognized faith-based community, with a reference letter from your Pastor, Imam, or Spiritual Leader.
• A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts degree in religious studies, education, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
