Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary In this role, you will play an important part in our world-leading ground handling operation at the PHX Airport. With a focus on safety and attention to detail, you will be responsible for completing various aspects of ramp service functions, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, aircraft marshaling, and water servicing. * *This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.** Part-Time Compensation Rate: $18.00 per hour. City & Airport: Phoenix, AZ - Sky Harbor International Airport Available work days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday (11:30 AM - 4:00 PM Approx.)Responsibilities Your main job duties may include (but are not limited to):

  • Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
  • Load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft.
  • Safely drive and operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts to pick up and deliver cargo/bags between the terminal, warehouse, and aircraft.
  • Sort and load baggage.
  • Perform ground service functions, such as connecting/removing ground power, ground start units, and water service.
  • Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking, and related guide man functions.
  • Maintain a secure work environment.Minimum Requirements
  • HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • *This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.** Preferred Skills
  • Good communications and language skills.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in inclement weather.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
