Job Description

Project Manager – Ground-Up Multifamily & Commercial Construction

📍 Dallas, TX

💰 $135,000 – $165,000 + Truck Allowance + Benefits

About the Company

Our client is a Dallas-based General Contractor with a reputation for delivering ground-up multifamily and commercial projects that combine functionality, design excellence, and long-term value.

With an established presence across Texas and a leadership team that genuinely values relationships, quality, and accountability, they’ve built an impressive portfolio spanning luxury multifamily developments, office complexes, retail centers, and mixed-use spaces.

They’re now looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager who’s passionate about leading construction from the first shovel in the ground to project closeout — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads with confidence, and takes pride in exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and budgets.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and buyout processes.
  • Coordinate directly with field teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, and change order processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
  • Mentor Assistant PMs and project engineers to help develop the next generation of leaders.

About You

  • 5–10 years’ experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor.
  • Proven track record delivering ground-up multifamily and/or commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project (or similar).

Why Join?

This is a company where you’re not just another cog in the machine — your work makes a visible impact. You’ll join a team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and mutual respect. Every project is approached with pride and purpose, and success is celebrated together.

If you’re looking for a stable, growing contractor where your leadership truly shapes the outcome, this is the place to build your future.

📩 Apply now or reach out confidentially to discuss your experience and fit for the role.
