Role and Responsibilities:
Opens and closes all food service programming onsite. This includes SPARKS lunches, In-person shopping, and the Home Delivery program. Will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator and Warehouse Lead to ensure volunteers and staff are supported in day-to-day activities. Conducts morning briefings and instructions throughout the day for volunteers. Assists and leads training for staff and volunteers in any aspect of Food Service Programs from distribution, food safety, to warehouse safety. Be the main resource and leader for all volunteers as it concerns Food Services and strategize with Volunteer Coordinator on meeting volunteer needs.
Assist Food Service Program Manager (FSPM) in creating new programming and consistently observing and fine-tuning current programming. Be able to assist in food ordering and food tracking in the absence of FSPM. Oversee programs in the absence of FSPM.
Work closely with the Warehouse Lead, understand their duties, and be able to cover and assist when needed. Be able to run a motorized pallet jack and take the place of Warehouse Lead when on PTO.
Understand Food Service Programs and warehouse duties enough to lead warehouse staff and volunteers in the absence of Warehouse Lead; ensuring programs are set up and running on time. Be sure day-to-day warehouse activities, duties and goals are met in the absence of Warehouse Lead.
Help develop and maintain a food tracking system with FSPM and WL. Track amounts of food and spending trends and come up with reports for leadership.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Highschool Diploma
AA, or BA preferred
Operate electric Pallet Jack
Familiar with warehouse safety and protocols
Familiar with word and basic computer tasks
Oral and written communication skills
Track and analyze data
