• Class starts on Monday, December 1(you must attend all week)

Looking for those individuals who are interested in becoming Commercial Electricians. People who are interested in a CAREER , not a job!

Earn while you learn with the RAMS JumpStart program.

RAMS is a licensed Electrical Contractor and a state licensed Pre-Apprenticeship school for the electrical trade. We are holding interviews for those people who are interested in becoming commercial electricians. If selected into the program, you will be paid while in school and have all your required tools provided to you at no cost while in the program. The training program is 100% free to those individuals selected! Those individuals who are selected for the program will be hired full time by RAMS .

The JumpStart program is six months long and broken out into two phases.

• Phase one will be an intense week of both hands-on training and classroom training. You will be taught the basics of electrical theory, EMT bending, circuitry, material identification, tool use, and OSHA safety.
• Phase two will be the OJT (On the Job training) portion. You will be assigned to a commercial job site and teamed with a Journeyman level commercial electrician to learn while you work.

Once you graduate the JumpStart program you are still a RAMS employee, but now have the basic skills to work/function in the field. You are also now eligible to be sponsored into a four-year apprenticeship school.

The pay is as follows:

• First week of classroom training you make $13.00 per hour.
• On the first day of your second week (1st day of your assignment), you will be making $15.00 per hour while on the job training. GETTING PAID WHILE LEARNING!!!
• After the completion of 160 hours of OJT, your pay goes to $17.00 per hour.
• After the completion of 620 additional hours of OJT, your pay goes to $17.00 per hour until the program is completed.
