“America Reports” is seeking a skilled, experienced and hardworking Producer to join the team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has an interest in breaking news. You are a strong writer & excellent under pressure. As a Producer on “America Reports”, you will be responsible for executing the show lead, writing live scripts during breaking news and conducting in-depth research. The Producer will serve as a backup to the Line Producer, on occasion.

Pitch guests, stories and segment ideas
Write guest intros, readers and teases
Select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to tell a story
Monitor multiple sources for new developments
Build compelling and concise lower thirds throughout the hour
Serve as backup Line Producer when needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
4+ years of professional experience in a live television control room
Strong and accurate writing
Line producing training
Thorough knowledge of current events and politics
Experience crafting a rundown
Experience writing/producing/editing news packages
Dalet training
