Job Description

This is a part-time, hourly position.

Start Date: October 13th, 2025

Overview

The Piano Accompanist supports our Eurythmy Teachers by playing pieces provided by the teachers to support sequential movement routines 1st through 8th grades. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position and carries no benefits other than those required by San Francisco (Paid Sick Leave and Health Care Ordinance). Holidays are unpaid.

The Pianist will be accompanying 17 eurythmy sessions per week and occasional rehearsals and evening performances required.

Qualifications:

• Classical repertoire fluency, intermediate - advanced playing level
• Good site reading skills is helpful for medium level selections
• Reliable, on-time
• Ability to attend closely to teacher direction
• Occasional evening availability is preferred

Benefits & Compensation

Pay Rate: $45 per hour

This is a part-time, hourly position. This position carries no benefits other than those available through the San Francisco City Ordinances. This position does not continue through the Summer Break.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Be able to occasionally lift to 30 lbs.
• Work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Regularly sitting or standing 4 hours
