Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Administrator / Accounting Systems Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of our NetSuite ERP system while partnering closely with leadership to improve financial visibility and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

NetSuite ERP Administration & Implementation

• Assist with the rollout, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of NetSuite ERP.
• Review and optimize the Chart of Accounts, including processes tailored for cash-basis accounting.
• Set up and manage project accounting functions, including project profitability tracking.
• Configure Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice formatting and A/R reporting.
• Perform data import and validation across both cash-basis and accrual accounting (leveraging native NetSuite tools).
• Develop and maintain dashboards, templates, and automations within NetSuite.

Reporting & Business Tools Development:

Core Accounting & Financial Reports

• A/R Aging
• A/P Aging
• True Cost Report
• Balance Sheet
• Monthly and YTD Profit & Loss
• Cashflow Forecast
• Company Budget Tracking

Project-Based Reporting & Tools

• Hourly projects
• Lump-sum projects
• Automate fee invoicing workflows (hourly and lump-sum).
• Set up reimbursable invoicing processes.
• Develop A/R registers by client and project.
• Build reports for:
• Project profitability (overall, per client, per project / Sr. PM report)
• Billings forecasts by project
• Backlog tracking (secured vs. forecasted work)
• Implement project forecasting tools:
• Original budgeted hours vs. actual hours
• Remaining hours
• Automated forecasting logic
• Monthly hourly project forecasting

Resource & Manpower Reporting

• Create manpower utilization and forecasting reports.
• Develop “true cost” reports across all manpower resources.

Operational Dashboards

• Build and maintain a Business Operations Dashboard (OPS Sheet) summarizing financial health, project status, and key company metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Must have experience with NetSuite ERP administration, configuration, or process development.
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to build efficient tools, workflows, and dashboards.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and project teams.
