Job Description

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Lab Technician with a Food & Beverage client.

Job Description:

• Perform variety of required analytical laboratory tests on in process product samples and finished goods. Testing is also performed on product and packaging materials as well as incoming products as needed.
• Testing protocols range from basic bench top wet chemistries such as pH to more extensive instrumentation such as GC and UV-Vis.
• Perform government compliance testing on required products prior to release.
• Perform Quality Assurance checks on products.
• Maintain inventory and materials.
• Keep proper documentation.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or other science related major.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Youngstown, PA

Onsite expectation: 100% on-site

Pay range: $21 an hour
