Direct Loan Processor
Location: Sacramento, CA

Salary: $41,600-45,760
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound loan-related calls while efficiently processing loan applications.
- Prepare, review, and audit loan documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
- Verify borrower information and obtain DMV documentation to properly record liens on collateral.
- Identify and mitigate potential fraud, suspicious activity, and identity theft.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, branch staff, back-office, and management) to ensure smooth loan processing.
- Respond promptly to member inquiries via phone, email, Team chat, and web messaging, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
- Maintain and update loan processing systems and knowledge bases with high attention to detail.
- Conduct financial analysis and verification to satisfy loan conditions for funding.
- Participate in virtual meetings, video conferences, and other online collaboration tools.
- Foster a positive, courteous environment for members, colleagues, and external partners.
- Continuously develop technical and problem-solving skills to improve departmental performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- 3+ years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume call center or loan-processing environment.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Advanced technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, loan software, and internal communication platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional customer service approach.
- Ability to maintain compliance with state and federal lending regulations.
- Knowledge of auto and personal loans, DMV lien filing, and banking procedures is a plus.
