Crew Lead / Driver – Tiger Moving Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a moving crew to execute residential and commercial moves with precision, efficiency, and care.
• Safely operate company box trucks and vehicles, ensuring compliance with all driving and safety standards.
• Coordinate daily job flow by assigning tasks, setting expectations, and maintaining productivity throughout the move.
• Oversee loading, unloading, packing, furniture protection, and inventory handling to prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct pre-move safety briefings and enforce safety protocols at all times on job sites and during transport.
• Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, maintaining clear communication with customers and Tiger Moving management.
• Lead by example by actively assisting with physical moving tasks when needed.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, vehicle inspections, and equipment usage records.
• Ensure trucks, tools, and equipment are kept clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in moving, logistics, warehousing, construction, or a physically demanding team-based environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a hands-on, fast-paced setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks preferred.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting techniques, load securing, and damage prevention best practices.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold crew members accountable while maintaining a positive team culture.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and in physically demanding conditions when required.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain (if applicable) is a plus.
