Apartment Maintenance LEAD Technician (HVAC Specialist & Team Lead)

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC repair expertise to join our team and assume a leadership role within our maintenance division. Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on HVAC diagnostics, repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance
• Oversee and mentor maintenance staff, providing technical direction and training
• Respond to work orders efficiently while ensuring timely, high-quality resolutions
• Manage and prioritize daily maintenance workflow
• Conduct routine inspections of apartment homes and building systems
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general property upkeep
• Ensure safety standards, compliance, and property quality are consistently met
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of HVAC repair experience (EPA certification required)
• Proven experience in residential or multifamily maintenance
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior lead/supervisory experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
• Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
